[1958]
JAMES MARINOS (JD) was allowed by the state bar to take the bar exam while still a student at USD’s School of Law. He passed in 1957 and was sworn in as a lawyer. James then graduated with the first law class in 1958 and received his law degree. He has practiced for 53 years and currently has a solo practice in downtown San Diego. James is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, past president of the San Diego chapter, a Diplomate- and AV-rated attorney and “a very lucky guy,” he says. “When I grow up, I plan to retire and stay right here where I live in La Jolla.”
