Women’s Law Caucus
Women have brought their distinctive talents to the law profession and the law has responded positively. The WLC is on the cutting edge of these new developments. It was created to address the special needs and interests of women in law ranging from affirmative action to career enhancement. Its aims are to promote professionalism and to provide opportunities for networking, socializing and exploring areas of interest. Functions are designed around the interest of its members and have included self-improvement seminars, fundraising events, socials, and speakers such as judges, lawyers and other law professionals. Membership is open to both women and men, and all functions are open to the law school community.
