La Raza Law Students Association
La Raza’s main purpose is to provide academic support to its members, particularly first-year law students, and help members excel in law school. Another important focus is a concern with the issues that affect the Latino community. The direction of this concern can come from many different angles, as long as the interest of the Latino community is at the heart. La Raza sponsors various social events and gatherings to help create an encouraging environment within the organization. La Raza is open to everyone, regardless of political affiliation or ethnicity.
