Assignment
Assigned evidence problems will be based on two case files: State v. Mitchell
and MacIntyre v. Easterfield. These case files can be found in the
Burns Workbook. You will be well served by an early and detailed familiarity
with both files.
For the first day of class, please carefully read and re-read State v.
Mitchell (including the jury instructions), read the Introduction to the
Federal Rules of Evidence (FRE), read FRE 401-403 (including commentary), and
prepare Problems 1-10 and 12 (Burns Workbook).

in my office most of the day on Wednesday, Thursday, and Monday.) If you are
unable to see me prior to Monday=s class, you can pick up your handheld in
class.
