Katherine M. and George M. Pardee Jr. Legal Research Center

The Pardee Legal Research Center (LRC) offers state-of-the-art services and facilities to USD law students. More than 500,000 volumes and volume equivalents are housed in the LRC, along with classrooms and an instructional computer lab. The LRC offers interactive video instruction, computer-assisted legal instruction and an online library automation system, with computer legal research systems such as LexisNexis, Westlaw, Dialog and LegalTrac. The LRC's computer lab also provides students with access to Readex's U.N. CD-ROM and the Internet. The lower level of the LRC houses the school's Center for Public Interest Law and the Children's Advocacy Institute.
