Majors and Minors Available at USD

As of Fall 2008, the University of San Diego offers over 35 academic majors and 45 minors.  Typically between 25%-30% of the courses you take at USD will be courses in your major.  For some majors a minor is required (for example, if you major in physics you are required to minor in mathematics), however for most majors a minor is optional.  It is not uncommon at USD for a student to double major, or have two minors.  However, it is important to refer to the Undergraduate Bulletin and check-in with your academic advisor to ensure you are meeting all graduation requirements.   The majors and minors offered at USD are listed below along with the degree granted:
