Women of Color Discussion Group

Co-sponsored by the Counseling Center and the Women’s Center, this group is for USD undergraduate and graduate students, who self-identify as women of color. The Women of Color Discussion Group is conceptualized as a place in which participants can connect with others, reflect on experiences, and share and discuss what feels relevant and important.

The specific topics are generated by group members. Examples of group topics include:  dealing with racism and sexism, maintaining a sense of cultural congruity as one navigates multiple contexts, and stress management and self-care.

Time & Dates:  Wednesdays 5:00 – 6:30 pm (Light dinner provided; group meets 10/10, 10/17, 10/24, 11/17 & 11/14).
