UB Tutoring Schedule

AFTER SCHOOL
Where: Kearny High Educational Complex (Library) 
When: Monday and Wednesday - 3:30pm -5:00pm   
Tutor: Maria Jimenez, Maria Ortega, Norma Rojas and Barinia Uribe

EVENING

Where: USD TRiO Office      

When: Monday - Thursday 5:30pm - 7:30pm

UB Student Hours

You must maintain at LEAST eight (8) hours of contact a month with the tutors and/or staff of the program, whether that be through tutoring, Wednesday Workshops, educational/cultural fieldtrips, or any other approved UB activity.

The following will also count for hours:

1. If you have a GPA of 3.51 and above, you will receive 4 hours of credit per month (you must provide progress reports and final grades to get credit for each month).
2. If you have a GPA of 3.31 - 3.5, you will receive 3 hours of credit per month (you must provide progress reports and final grades to get credit for each month).
3. If you have a GPA of 3.01 - 3.3, you will receive 2 hours of credit per month (you must provide progress reports and final grades to get credit for each month).
4. If you have a GPA of 2.8 - 3.0, you will receive 1 hour of credit per month (you must provide progress reports and final grades to get credit for each month).
5. If you participate in a club or sport, you will receive 1 hour of credit per month (a blue form must be completely filled out and returned to UB staff no later than the last Wednesday of the month you are claiming hours for (blue forms can be picked up from tutors in Rm. 405 or UB office).
