The University of San Diego has a comprehensive site license for Norton’s Symantec virus protection software, for Windows and Macintosh. We recommend that all users keep their virus protection software up to date.

Keep your system clean
- Do not accept attachments in your e-mail software.
- Ensure that your e-mail software is set to not automatically open attachments.
- Do not download software you are unfamiliar with.
- Never browse the web as an administrative user.
- Keep your system software up to date.
- Keep your anti-virus software up to date.
