Faculty/Staff Twilight Retreat
Faculty and Staff are invited to participate in retreats offered twice a semester in the late afternoon. These on-campus gatherings include time for a brief presentation on a particular theme, silent prayer and sharing. Dr. McCahill will present an overview of the research linking spirituality to health and wellbeing, and a summary of what is done today with regard to spirituality in the training and clinical practice of the healthcare professions. Resources will be recommended for additional study, and questions and discussion will be encouraged.

Faculty/Staff Prayer Breakfast
Once a semester faculty and staff gather in the Gran Terraza for a Prayer Breakfast. Reverend Canon Jack Lindquist will present Vatican II: Fifty Years On, a Lutheran Perspective. The Second Vatican Council met from 1962-1965. Rev. Lindquist will review the tremendous impact the Second Vatican Council had on all major Christian churches, on ecumenism, on his own life, and what we may learn from it today.
