Support Undergraduate Research

There are many ways to support undergraduate research at the University of San Diego:

Research Internships

If you are part of a company, organization, or government agency that conducts scientific, engineering, or social science research, consider having a USD undergraduate as a research intern. Please contact Dr. Sarah Kriz, the Director of Undergraduate Research for more information.

Summer Research

Our on-campus research programs like SURE and PURE offer undergraduate students the opportunity to conduct a summer-long research, scholarly or creative project under the mentorship of a USD faculty member. A donation of $7500 supports a SURE student's 10 week summer project. A contribution of $6000 allows a San Diego area student to conduct a summer research project through USD's PURE program.

Creative Collaborations

Every spring, the University of San Diego hosts Creative Collaborations, a showcase of student-faculty research, internships, creative works, and scholarship. Students present their work in the form of academic posters or interactive exhibits. A contribution of $50 allows one student to print and present a poster at Creative Collaborations.

Please consider supporting these worthwhile academic programs.
