Student Life Pavilion
The Hahn University Center is being expanded to accommodate the social, cultural facility and service needs of the undergraduate, graduate, and professional students at the University of San Diego. The expanded university center will become the hub of campus life; a central gathering place for fostering a sense of community among students, faculty, staff, alumni and the larger community. The new four story addition will include a transformed and contemporary dining facility offering multiple dining options and a significantly expanded market and retail area. The upper two floors will house student government, student activities and organizations, the multicultural center, the women’s center, the honors center, graduate and law organizations, publications and other media, and a creative zone- all designed with contemporary systems furnishings for maximum flexibility. The new facility is scheduled to be open in Fall 2009. Renovations of the current facility are scheduled to occur in 2009-2010.

Mercado- a mercado like no other, filled with food, beverages and merchandise from around the globe, including; a full grocery line, fresh produce, and the l’atelier (a culinary workshop) that features gelato/cold stone creamery, smoothies, tea and coffee bars.
Tapenade – Fresh ingredients and simple cooking combine to create healthy cuisine from around the globe with an emphasis on vegetarian and vegan dishes.
Secret Ingredient - Each day a chef will choose a different 'secret' ingredient to cook with. Stop by this live demonstration cooking station to discover today’s secret.
Nori - Modern Japanese creations and fresh sushi made to order, in addition to bento boxes and rice bowls.
Lemon Grass – Traditional Vietnamese dishes including the popular Pho noodle bowls.
Mu Shu - Authentic Chinese cuisine that explores all of China. Featuring dishes like Mu Shu pancakes, orange chicken and a variety of stir-frys.
Heirloom - A seasonally inspired blend of classic Italian favorites and regional specialties. Daily fresh made pasta and homemade sauce featuring heirloom tomatoes and a wood-fired pizza oven.
Maiz - Authentic Latin cuisine featuring fresh tortillas handmade daily on-site.
Sea Salt Grill - Classic American dishes with favorites from coast-to-coast.
Bay Leaf - From broth-based to cream-based, vegetable to chili, Bay Leaf offers a wide range of soups made from scratch daily.
Chives - Create your own salad with an assortment of vegetables, fruits and more. Go green at the 100% organic produce bar, offering sustainable agriculture from local farms.
