Transfer Student Support

Drop Shadow

Current Transfer Students

USD understands many of the challenges that new transfer students face in their transition to a new institution. There are many resources and people available to help you at USD!

Transfer Transition Team

The Transfer Transition Team (TTT) provide an ongoing point of contact for each new transfer student and create transfer-specific opportunities for new students to be welcomed, recognized as valued community members, and engaged in the campus community.

These student leaders serve as a point of resource and referral for new transfer students and provide timely and relevant information about academic and personal resources on campus. You will first meet the TTT at a Summer Registration Day or Transfer Fall Orientation!

Degree Audit Software (u.achieve)

u.achieve (formerly known as DARS) is USD's degree audit software tool for charting your progress toward your degree. By logging into u.achieve, you can see what credits have transferred to USD from a previous institution, and what courses still need to be completed once your major is declared.

To access u.achieve, visit your MySanDiego Portal (my.sandiego.edu) and then click on the My Academics tab. At the top right, you will find the DARS/u.achieve login link.

Academic Advising for Transfer Students

Your academic advisor can assist you by explaining major requirements, reviewing your academic progress, and mapping out an estimated plan for graduation.
