Campus Connections and the Center for Health and Wellness Promotion invite all USD students to join us for a free Certified Peer Educator training sponsored by BACCHUS International. This training will prepare students to recognize signs of distress or mental health concerns, to listen and refer students to appropriate services, to be an empowered bystander, to use effective intervention skills, to educate their peers and more. BACCHUS is a nationally accredited organization, and all participants will have the chance to become certified peer educators upon completion of the training. This training is a great opportunity for students interested in careers in the health and wellness, or social services industries!
Saturday, Feb. 15 and Sunday, Feb. 16
BACCHUS Training is free to USD students, and breakfast and lunch will be provided.
Please pre-register by February 12 by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
