Bio:
George earned an MFA in directing from Florida Atlantic University, an M.A. degree in Performance Studies from University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill with an emphasis in performance art and ritual studies. He is the associate artistic director of the Cygnet Theatre, resident artist at the Diversionary Theatre, has served as assistant director for numerous main stage productions at The Old Globe and has performance experience with various repertory companies across the country, namely: The Playmakers Repertory Theatre, the Kansas City Repertory Theatre, The New Theatre, and the San Diego Repertory. He is the recipient of the Pâté Award for Theatre Excellence, The San Diego Critics Circle Award for sound design, is a member of Actor’s Equity Association, and the American Society of Fight Directors.
