This course assists students with developing and applying critical reading methods, analytical skills and diagramming techniques to aggressively tackle the multiple choice sections of the LSAT - Analytical Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Reading Comprehension. Students are also provided with organizational structures and general writing advice concerning the required Writing Sample.The score range on the LSAT is just 120-180, making an increase of even a few points extremely important.

Effective Instruction Plan

Review each question type to help you assess your strengths and weaknesses. Our instructors then take the LSAT apart to show you how it is put together, teaching you specific strategies and tactics for each type of question.

Discuss questions with the instructor in an interactive format, focusing on particular problem areas and questions to practice valuable techniques and correct errors before the actual exam.

Simulate and self-score a proctored mock exam under timed conditions that is reviewed by the instructor in the classroom, enabling students to estimate their actual test scores prior to the real exam.

Course Materials: The Real Thing

Practice on tests actually administered as prior LSATs, the best material available for learning the skills essential to a successful score. Supplemental materials are also available on reserve. The course book is a preparation guide with many exercises, practice questions, and tips. It also includes a CD with an on-line component that provides students with round the clock opportunity for supplemental practice and feedback.

A Personal Commitment

Personal Attention is our commitment to all students. Counseling assistance is provided to students to review the application process and answer questions about law school. Students may view sample personal statements and schedule an appointment for one-on-one assistance relating to writing this important admissions requirement.

USD's LSAT Preparation Course combines several instructional methods to give you the most comprehensive training. If, however, you are dissatisfied with your score or remain hesitant about taking the exam, you are welcome to repeat the same course for up to one year at no additional cost.

Flexible Schedules

Flexibility is provided by programs of two different lengths offered before each LSAT exam. The 42-hour LSAT Preparation Course is divided into 14 sessions that typically meet twice a week over a 7-week period. USD also offers a 27-hour program on both days for the three weekends prior to each LSAT. Both the 42-hour and the 27-hour schedules cover all aspects of the test, and the course materials are identical. Summer classes are also available.
