Non-Affiliated Programs

The University of San Diego International Center STRONGLY DISCOURAGES students from participating in a non-affiliated program for two main reasons:

1. Loss of financial aid package – students participating in a non-affiliated program will not be eligible to receive any USD financial aid.
2. No grades will be transferred – students participating in a non-affiliated program will not earn grades for the coursework and will only earn credit. This may affect graduation requirements.

Students wishing to pursue the opportunity to participate in a non-affiliated program should follow the subsequent steps:

1. Select a program of interest and print information about the program
2. Complete the Participation Request Form
3. Meet with an International Studies Abroad Advisor in the USD International Center to review your program of interest. Bring program material and completed Participation Request Form with you.
