The University of San Diego supports breastfeeding mothers by providing a private, comfortable room for them to nurse, express and store breast milk for their babies. The Mother’s Room, located in the Student Life Pavilion, room 420 includes a changing table, cleansing and storage facilities. Mother Rosalie Hill Hall has child-friendly lounges including a family restroom located on the first floor in Room 120. This room can be locked from the inside and includes an electrical outlet. The Hahn School of Nursing and Health Sciences also have lounges which are not necessarily private. Changing tables are available in all of the restrooms in the Hahn University Center as well as the Jenny Craig Pavilion. Located inside the Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice, the second floor women’s restroom has an interior room which can be locked from the inside. This space is adjacent to a shower stall and has been furnished with a glider chair and a small table and electrical outlet.
