Club Registration

 Starting a New Club

We can’t wait to help you start the Club Registration process!  Keep in mind that in order to start a new club on campus you must have:

  • A minimum of 10 undergraduate students
  • A current USD employee to act as your club's advisor
  • Constitution (template)

Club Registration Meetings

Prior to starting a new student organization/club or re-registering a club/organization, organization representatives must either attend the Student Org Conference, a Club Registration Meeting, or Schedule a Meeting with an Involvement Consultant. An organization representative can either come by during drop-in hours, or email usdinvolvement@gmail.com to set up an appointment. Plan on budgeting about 15 to 30 minutes for this meeting. Please keep in mind that your organization will not be able to access the many resources available to clubs (funding, room reservation, storage, etc.) until the entire registration process is completed. Please note: if your organization attended the Student Org Conference, you are not required to set up a meeting with an Involvement Consultant.
