Five proposals are related to information technology:
- Educational Innovation
- Center for Humanities and Technology
- Educational Design Innovations Group
- Ubiquitous Wireless Connectivity
- <Named> Center for Information Resources
The first three proposals promote instructional innovation by providing resources that enable faculty to experiment with new educational technologies for teaching and research. The fourth proposal brings wireless connectivity to the entire USD campus. The fifth--which would require a major donation rather than USD funds--builds a major addition to Copley Library that houses information technology and media resources as well as the traditional library offerings.
