What are the dates for Summer Sessions?
Summer is June 2 - August 22, 2008. There are various 3 and 6 week sessions over the summer. Please see Important Dates for details.

Can I take a class Pass/Fail?
If the conditions set out in the 2006-2008 Undergraduate Bulletin are met. You must obtain your advisor's signature.

What if I need to attend Summer Sessions but wish to participate in the May ceremony? (August grads)
Assuming you are in compliance with all the graduation requirements in the Undergrad/Grad Bulletin, you must register and pay for your remaining units at USD by May 1 at the Summer and Intersession Office. You will be given a Graduation Clearance. See "Link" to the right for more details.

How and when can I register for Summer Sessions?
WebReg is active March 10 - 14. See eligibility dates based on units. You must have a MySanDiego account and obtain your new PIN from your advisor. Walk-in registration begins March 25th in Founders 108.  You must bring proof of payment and a registration form signed by your advisor.

How do I use the WebReg system?

Where do I go to use WebReg?
Log on to the MySanDiego Portal at https://my.sandiego.edu and go to the “One Stop Services” tab, then click on “Register for Classes” in the “My Registration” box.

When and where do I get my PIN?
You can obtain your new PIN from your academic advisor or department chair now. 
How many units can I take during Summer Sessions?
You may take one more unit than the number of weeks of the course (i.e. 4 units in 3 weeks.) If more units are necessary, you may request an Appeal for Overload form available at the Summer and Intersession Office, have it signed by your advisor and Dean, and return it to us.

How do I get on a wait list if my preferred class is full?
Come to the Summer and Intersession Office at 8:30 a.m., March 25th to get on the wait list.  Wait lists are first-come, first-served.

How much is tuition?
Tuition rates depend on your enrollment status.  Please click on "Link" to the right.

When is tuition due?
Tuition for courses reserved using WebReg is due April 4.  Tuition is due at the time of walk-in registration.

How do I pay for my Summer Sessions class?
Tuition must be paid in full by check at the Summer and Intersession Office or at Student Financial Services.  Students may also pay by credit card online using EPay.  If using Financial Aid, you must present a Financial Aid Referral to us. Referrals are obtained only after your application is submitted and the offer is accepted.

How do I apply for Financial Aid?
Applications are now available at http://www.sandiego.edu/financial_aid/forms/. Awards should be available by March 31 for students who applied by the priority due date of March 17.

Can you bill the person financially responsible for my summer class?
No, there are no payment plans available for summer. Tuition must be paid in full by April 4 if you use WebReg or at the time of walk-in registration.

Can I get a refund if I don’t take the class I signed up for?
You must officially drop with the Summer and Intersession Office, then refunds are at the applicable rate as published in the bulletin.  If you fail to attend a class you’ve registered for and do not officially drop, you will be charged for the class and receive an “F” on your transcript.

Can I live on campus during Summer Sessions?
On-campus housing is available. Click on "Link" to the right for the application. Submit to Housing before May 15. Housing is limited, apply early.

Can I get a meal plan during Intersession?
Meal plans are not available, however, CampusCash cards may be used.
