This course is an introduction to the fundamental principles that guide the financial manager in making asset management, valuation and financing decisions. Topics include ratio analysis, time value of money, stock and bond valuation, risk and return (CAPM), capital budgeting, financial planning, cost of capital and options. Prerequisite: ACCT 201, ECON 102, ECON 216. Note: Course will be canceled if there are fewer than eight (8) paid students enrolled as of Monday, May 4. Limit 40

The course will enhance your understanding of corporate finance topics, such as, valuation, capital budgeting, risk and return, cost of capital, capital structure, dividend policy and mergers.
