PACT

The University of San Diego is excited to be a new member of the Performance Assessment for California Teachers (PACT) Consortium. PACT is a consortium of teacher preparation programs at over 20 California universities.  These institutions have joined together to develop a teacher performance assessment.  Successful completion of the teaching performance assessment will be required to earn a California Preliminary Multiple Subject or Single Subject Teaching Credential.

The PACT performance assessment consists of course-level assignments and a final Teaching Event which is completed during student teaching.

PACT Resources

PACT Teaching Event Handbooks, rubrics, videotape guidelines, and Making Good Choices support guide are all available at the PACT website.

In addition, these materials will also be helpful for students and supervisors:

You can also go to the Faculty/Staff Resources tab and the Student Resources tab for additional resources on TaskStream, which is the technology used to collect score PACT evidence, and resources on the Teacher Performance Expectations (TPEs) and the California Standards for the Teaching Profession (CSTPs).
