Danielle Barbeau is originally from Boulder, Colorado where she completed her B.A. in Communication at the University of Colorado, Boulder (CU) then worked as an Admissions Counselor. Frequent admissions recruiting trips to Southern California eventually led to a decision to relocate to San Diego in 2008. Shortly thereafter Danielle began working at the University of San Diego in the International Center where she facilitates student exchanges; making it possible for USD students to study abroad and students from around the world to study at USD! Danielle has always had an insatiable, lifelong desire to travel and learn about the world, cultures, and people, which makes her work assisting students to participate in a global experience very rewarding. As a Leadership Studies student Danielle is looking forward to learning more about the transformational leadership in both higher education and the nonprofit sector.

Brandon McCreary is originally from Sierra Madre, California, a small town in the Los Angeles area. He began pursuing his Master's degree in Leadership Studies in the fall of 2010, and started working with USD's Residential Life department as an Assistant Community Director at the same time. Working in a higher education environment has become a passion, and Brandon's interest in Residential Life continues to grow as a possibility for work after graduation. His work in undergraduate leadership roles,
namely through Greek Life, sparked an interest in leadership and organizational theories, which helped him to formulate the plan to continue his education immediately after his undergraduate graduation from USD. Athletics, professional and collegiate, are also a great passion, and
Brandon is interested in the relationship between leadership and sports.
