Action Research E-Lab

The SOLES AR Lab is intended as an open source area for information, ideas, examples, and working documents on action research.

A laboratory is a place for practice, observation, testing, and scientific experimentation. The focus of the AR Lab is practicing action research, sharing observations regarding this practice, and advancing the development of theory and social innovations linked to the use of action research in education and community life in general.

Permission is granted to download and copy any of the documents included in the lab. We request that you acknowledge SOLES and the Center for Student Support Systems (CS3) when copying documents included in the school counseling area of the lab. Please acknowledge the Department of Learning and Teaching and SOLES when copying materials from the learning and teaching area of the lab.

The AR Lab is co-coordinated by Heather Lattimer, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Learning and Teaching and Lonnie Rowell, Ph.D., Associate Professor and Director of the Counseling Program. Our contact information is included below.

We invite you to submit items that you think might be useful contributions to the lab. To submit an item, please email Lonnie Rowell at lrowell@sandiego.edu or Heather Lattimer at hlattimer@sandiego.edu.

Enjoy your time in the laboratory!
