Communications Coordinator, The Hub at The Nonprofit Institute

Lia brings experience coordinating multiple projects in fast-paced, creative environments. Graduating magna cum laude from Loyola Marymount University in 2014, Lia worked as a creative executive for a film producer in Hollywood before moving back to her hometown of San Diego. Lia currently supports furthering communications, education, and resource development activities of the Climate Education Partners (CEP) project and The Nonprofit Institute at the School of Leadership and Education Sciences (SOLES). 

Outside of USD, Lia is on the steering and marketing committees of San Diego Leaders 2020, a network for young professionals interested in advancing environmentally and economically sustainable solutions for the San Diego region. She is also on the board of her community choir, Point Loma Peninsula Singers.

In her other volunteer work, Lia is a theater operations coordinator for the San Diego International Film Festival, a mural repair volunteer for The San Diego River Park Foundation, a volunteer photographer for the San Diego Museum of Photographic Arts, and a volunteer judge for the Directing Change Program and Film Contest. She is also an award-winning painter.
