Health & Wellness – North San Diego County School District: CEPAL has finished its third year of evaluating the effects of the “On the Mat” and “Through my Actions” components of a north San Diego County school district's health and wellness program. A year three report is being written.
Health & Wellness – East San Diego County School District: CEPAL has finished its second year of evaluating an east San Diego county school district's health and wellness program. A year two report is being written.
Health & Wellness - Southeast Texas School District: CEPAL has finished its first year of evaluating the effects of the Sonima Foundation's health and wellness program in a large urban southeast Texas school district. A year one report is being written.
Health & Wellness – Northeastern School District: CEPAL has partnered with Long Island University faculty to support a study that builds upon the research we've conducted at in a San Diego County school.
Pedagogy and Environment Fit: In collaboration with San Diego State University, National Center for the 21st Century Schoolhouse, CEPAL conducted research to be understand the manner in which specific design elements fit with the intended pedagogy of an urban high school.
Law and Politics of Educational Policy Development Course: An inside look on how educational policy is formulated, the School of Law and the School of Leadership and Education Studies co-sponsor this seminar under the auspices of CEPAL.
Learning Space Design: CEPAL is collaborating with the Cajon Valley Union School District (CVUSD) to align its new learning and teaching goals with its current and future physical learning environments. As part of the overall learning space design project, four school site pilots are being conducted. These pilots will informed the development of facilities design guidelines to enhance CVUSD’s blended and 1-to-1 device learning and teaching pedagogy as well as innovative spaces for applied STEM learning and coding.
