has accepted a position in the President’s Leadership Program at Christopher Newport University in Virginia. She married David Swedensen on February 25, 2012 in San Diego.

has accepted a position as Director of Speical Projects for the Vice President of Student Affairs at Humboldt State University.

teaches Special Day Class English at Temecula Valley High School and advises the cheer program.

co-founded Live California, a cultural immersion summer camp where students from Spain can study English and American culture while living with host families.

has accepted a position as principal at Franklin Elementary School in the San Diego Unified School District.

Lorena (Lopez) Romero, MED ‘06
and her husband Richard welcomed their first child, Joaquin, on September 11, 2010. Lorena was a teacher at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart in City Heights, CA, and she now dedicates time her time to her family.

Rob Gailey, PhD ‘10
and Rebecca Harver co-authored a paper entitled "How can Microfinance contribute to restoring dignity and transforming lives in urban slums?" Rob serves as the director of the Center for International Development at Point Loma Nazarene University.

Michael Downs, MA ‘10
serves as the Recruitment and Outreach Officer for the Educational Opportunity Programs-Ethnic Affairs at San Diego State University.
