Nonprofits and Civil Society

Students will learn how organizations and government collaborate, as well as understand how nonprofit organizations function in a developing country.  The delegation will travel to Guatemala City, Quetzaltenango, Lake Atitlan and Antigua during the trip.  During our week-long tour we will visit with leaders and organizations from the public, private, and philanthropic sectors.  The visits will explore community development, health and human services, the environment, corporate social responsibility and the role of faith-based initiatives in Guatemala.
