Collaborative Care and Bilingual Therapy
The Collaborative Care course will introduce students to various models of collaborative care and the unique set of clinical skills MFT's need to work successfully on integrated care teams. The Bilingual Therapy will explore the unique issues related to working with linguistically diverse populations and providing therapy in a language other than English. In the two courses that will be offered together, students will travel to Cuenca, Ecuador. Ecuador is an ideal location due to the significant linguistic diversity found throughout the country's population. Students will have the opportunity to interact with Universidad de Cuenca MFT students, many of whom provide clinical services to linguistically diverse populations.

* Return airfare not included. Accommodation expense is based on a double-occupancy room rate.
1. The estimated program costs include accommodation, transportation for in-country program activities, and program costs. Students will need to budget for some additional meals and incidental costs.
2. Upon registration, you will be billed a non-refundable $150 deposit.
3. When you receive confirmation that you have been accepted to the course, you need to book your own flights.
