Research Seminar offers an introduction and advancement of knowledge on research methodology common to graduate level leadership studies. The course examines how to support students in developing empirical questions of their own while developing the capacity to apply critical thought to the study of scholarly research. Students gain an understanding of qualitative, quantitative, and action research approaches to leadership through review of model studies. The primary aim is to equip students to be conversant about research so as to make informed choices about their course of study and apply the learning to issues in the larger world.
