| Description | This course is designed to provide students with the skills to recognize day to day as well as catastrophic risks encountered in managing nonprofit organizations. Students will have an opportunity to develop proactive practical strategies to mitigate the risks their organizations will encounter. Students will learn about factors that impact unemployment and workers compensations insurance costs. Students will work in group to create an Illness Injury Prevention manual based on standards established by the workers compensation insurance industry. |
