This course will focus on development of an understanding of audiology as it relates to the child with a hearing loss.  An introduction of anatomy and physiology will be followed will be followed by information on behavioral hearing testing of infants and young children and interpretation of audiograms.  The fundamentals of objective tests such as tympanometry, otoacoustic emissions and auditory brainstem testing will also be presented, with additional iinformation on testing children with additional disabilities (ASD.etc.).
