The Diabetes Research Connection (DRC) is a California not-for-profit corporation which utilizes web based crowd funding to support peer reviewed, type 1 diabetes research. This 501(c)(3) was formed recently by well established diabetes scientists and members of the public affected by the disease. The goal is to fund innovative, early state basic research approaches to preventing and curing type 1 diabetes, as well as developing better methods for caring for those with this auto-immune disease and addressing its complications.

The Program Administrator must be a largely autonomous, highly motivated self-starter, who will manage the DRC's day-to-day operations. This individual will work closely with web designers, donors, advisors, eight board members, researchers, and others to help develop and manage all aspects of the DRC's growth and ongoing operations.
