HOAG HOSPITAL FOUNDATION:

Hoag Hospital Foundation is an integral partner in Hoag Hospital's mission to provide world-class medical care. As the philanthropic arm of Hoag, the Foundation's mission is to inspire philanthropy that will help transform the hospital, the donor and the community through an assurance of excellence at Hoag Hospital, a mission exceeded every year.

Under the direction of a volunteer Board of Directors, the Foundation conducts programs and campaigns that generate more than $30 million per year in new gifts and pledges. Funds are earmarked for capital projects, equipment purchases, innovative program development and clinical research. Foundation funds are transferred directly to Hoag Hospital and represent the community's interest and support in improving the health care of the community.

As part of the newly developed Major Gifts Department, the Director of Major and Annual Giving is responsible for identifying and qualifying major gift prospects ($100K+), for serving as the staff liaison for key fundraising initiatives at Hoag and for supervising the annual giving efforts of the Foundation. The Director also will work closely with medical and administrative leadership and will staff volunteer-led committees assigned to support major gift fundraising programs in the Foundation.
