McArdle Clause Scholarship Program

This program awards scholarships to graduate students in the School Counseling Program who are pursuing master’s degrees. One $2,000 scholarship award will be awarded in the spring of 2012 and be applied to tuition.

Scholarship Requirements

To qualify for the McArdle Clause Scholarship Program, the following criteria must be satisfied:

Graduate student who is pursuing a master’s degree in counseling in the School of Leadership and Education Sciences.
Must be and remain in good academic standing as per the University of San Diego’s Graduate Bulletin and program requirements.
Must demonstrate financial need.
Consideration will be given to students pursuing careers in K-16 school counseling education.

Application Procedures

Complete the scholarship application form which includes the required one-page essay. Application Deadline is Friday, March 12, 2012
Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
