Heather Lattimer, EdD is a Professor of Education and Executive Director at the Jacobs Institute for Innovation in Education at the School of Leadership and Education Sciences at the University of San Diego (USD). Her areas of expertise include disciplinary literacy, teacher education, action research, learning design, and international education. A former middle and high school teacher, Dr. Lattimer has published and presented widely for both academic and professional audiences. At USD, she has served as a faculty member, program coordinator, department chair and associate dean. Dr. Lattimer holds earned degrees from Harvard, Stanford, and the University of California, San Diego.
