Carol Stachwick

Carol has over 20 years experience as Audit Manager for two local CPA firms, specializing in audits of nonprofit organizations, housing projects, and homeowners associations.

Carol taught Nonprofit Finance as an adjunct faculty member in the USD Institute for Nonprofit Education and Research Nonprofit Leadership and Management program from 2004-2007, returning in 2013. She was also a panelist/speaker at the USD Nonprofit Governance Conferences from 2004-2009. She currently teaches workshops in nonprofit finance, budgeting, reading financial statements, exempt tax, and related topics.

Carol has also served on the Board of Director for numerous nonprofit organizations and co-founded a nonprofit sports program for persons with disabilities. She has co-authored two books on Nonprofit Audit Committees for the AICPA.

For over 15 years she has served as a Girl Scout leader and Boy Scout volunteer, leading Scouts in camping, hiking, backpacking, canoeing, horsemanship, community service, encampments, badges, and awards.
