Katherine Nguyen Williams, Ph.D., is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PSY 22387) and Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the University of California, San Diego. She currently teaches medical students in the Practice of Medicine series at UCSD School of Medicine, as well as the Evidence-Based Therapeutic Interventions seminar for the UCSD Child Psychiatry Fellowship program. As an adjunct faculty member at USD Psychological Sciences, she teaches numerous courses on topics such as clinical research and psychological assessment. Dr. Williams serves as the program coordinator and primary clinical supervisor for UCSD psychology interns at Rady Children's Hospital, Outpatient Psychiatry. She has presented at Grand Rounds and co-authored articles and presentations on the implementation of evidence-based interventions. She continues to provide individual and family therapy at Rady Children's Outpatient Psychiatry, as well as conduct psychological assessments at her specialty private practice in La Jolla, California. Among her accomplishments, Dr. Williams was named Clinician of the Year by the San Diego Group Home Forum in 2000 and Chief Intern at the UCSD/VA Psychology Internship Program in 2005.
