Jose-Alfredo (Freddy) Delgado-Wong was born and raised in Imperial, California  before coming to San Diego in 2004.  Freddy graduated from UCSD with a  B.A. in history in 2008 and then received his M.A. in counseling from USD in  2010.  As an undergraduate, he was a  student of SSS for four years and also worked there as a peer mentor and summer program coordinator for three  years. While at USD, Freddy worked  as the graduate assistant of SSS for two years, and then became an academic coordinator upon graduation.  As a former student of the program, Freddy holds a passion for working with students,  especially those coming from underprivileged and underrepresented  backgrounds.  Outside of SSS, Freddy is an avid sports fan and loves to play basketball and soccer.
