Linda N. Dews is the assistant dean for SOLES and brings more than twenty years of experience in higher education student affairs administration. She offers that professional knowledge, understanding and practical training to enrich the student experience at SOLES. Her prior experience includes serving as president for a national legal career related association in Washington, DC, which represents every accredited U.S. law school and every major law firm and public agency, consulting and advising in admissions and diversity issues for a local independent college preparatory school, and various committee leadership positions for national education organizations. Dews has frequently served as a speaker and panelist at national and regional conferences on topics which include training and development, leadership, and broadening applicant pools, and has published articles on similar topics in regional and national periodicals.  She received her undergraduate degree from Santa Clara University and master's degree from California State University, East Bay.
