The 2011-2012 Spotlight on Education Speaker Series
The Educational Leadership Development Academy (ELDA) in the University of San Diego’s School of Leadership and Education Sciences annually sponsors SPOTLIGHT ON EDUCATION: A SPEAKER SERIES. The series has as its outcome providing world class, cutting edge, visionary thinking and professional development for principals, other site administrators, teacher leaders, central office administrators, university students and professors of educational administrations and businessmen throughout San Diego County. For 2011-2012, the Spotlight focus is on providing participants with hand-on tools and strategies that they can apply as practitioners in order to improve student achievement. The Spotlight Series this year deals with the topic of educational complexities, whether it be differentiation, use of technology to promote student success or cyberbullying.
