OUR CURRENT WORK:

EMPIRICAL and LEGAL RESEARCH
Recent studies by the Center for Education Policy and Law represent a variety of areas of inquiry at the regional and state level of education policy. These studies include:

• Career and technical education programs and funding in California
• Chamber of commerce participation in career and technical education programs in California high schools
• Collective bargaining and public use
• Electronic communication devices and the school learning environment
• Large urban district profile
• On-line learning legislation
• School board governance

ENHANCING COMMUNICATION

CEPAL also hosts events to bring together regional and statewide education and community leaders and policymakers to discuss important issues in public education. Recent forums include:
