The MTLC Classifieds is an online database of current and future faculty-led projects. The purpose of the database is to connect students with opportunities to gain work experience on projects of interest, and to highlight the work USD faculty members are doing in various fields.

Project DescriptionThe Caster Center maintains a blog associated with an ongoing research project called the State of Nonprofits Quarterly Index (www.stateofnonprofits.org). Blogs are written regularly about a wide range of topics related to the economic health of nonprofit organizations. Past articles have covered topics such as nonprofit/government relations, operating reserves, year-end giving, lobbying and advocacy, and much more. Blogs are written for a practitioner audience (nonprofit organizations) but must also be academic in nature. See website for examples of previous blogs.
Roles And ResponsibilitiesWriter/Bloggers will write blogs of 400-800 words on topics of their choice. The Caster Center will vet topic selection and, when applicable, suggest potential sources. The Caster Center will also edit the blogs before posting. Writer/Bloggers must follow the Caster Center’s Blogging parameters.
Preferred SkillsWriter/Bloggers should have some background experience or interest in the nonprofit sector. Writer/Bloggers should shave strong writing skills and a desire to blend the academic and practitioner voice.
