The SHE Experience is proud to bring you a high-energy group of professionals and experts in thought leadership and applied leadership practice. These women not only talk the talk, they walk the walk. Featuring some of the very best of San Diego's high-impact women, these individuals who are C-Suite, SHE Leaders, and Aspiration Architects - have come together to create a dynamic and one-of-a-kind adventure.

C-Suite:
The C-Suite consists of three women, who are friends, classmates, and colleagues, who have a different vision for leadership. They believe leadership is done at its very best when the head and the heart work together. If you lead only from your head you might be smart and decisive, but will lack the compassion and understanding that inspires others to act. Leading from the head, you will become a dictator. If you lead only from your heart you might exude generosity, love, and awareness, but you will lack the power that makes things happen.

Our talented and dedicated C-Suite team has developed a day where you will connect your head with your heart to begin the journey toward leadership excellence.

SHE Leaders:
These women have mastered the ability to inspire, engage, and contain a group. They not only have an advanced understanding of leadership, they have an incredible way with people. They have experience helping people identify and meet their goals, and will help you and your group commit fully into the day's adventure. Our SHE Leaders will facilitate the small group experience and challenge everyone to transform their lives.

Aspiration Architects:
When you aspire, you breathe your life energy into your hopes and your dreams. But often in life, we need a strategy, a blueprint, to make our aspirations become reality. Our Aspiration Architects are leadership experts and come from a diverse pool of experience and achievement. They have crafted workshops uniquely for the SHE Experience and will create an architectural framework for your learning by providing sessions on learning and practicing leadership.

Some non-traditional approaches that McCoy is researching include behavioral simulations and the art of influencing others through role-playing exercises.

McCoy is committed to her on-going development and believes that leadership requires continual progress toward growth and self-awareness. She understands the pressures of balancing home life with a career and has successfully mentored and taught thousands of students over her life as a professor teaching business strategy and marketing.

Tanya Paluso, B.A.

Tanya Paluso is the founder and CEO of Tribal Truth, an international organization that hosts local meetings, workshops and retreats for collaborative leadership development. It started as a network for women entrepreneurs in 2010 and opened its doors to include men this year. Tribes exist in San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas, New York, London, and online.

By teaching what she calls “co-creative leadership” to women so they can achieve their dreams, Tanya believes Tribal Truth can be a platform for sustainable social change as more women step into their power to make a difference in the world. She recognized the gap between men and women and invited men into the tribe to learn how to partner and collaborate with the women.

After living abroad in China, Japan, Spain and South America, she moved to New York City to begin her journey in personal development. It was there that Tanya discovered her passion for community building when she started a project to bring her colleagues at Thomson Financial together to mentor inner city girls. The project was so successful that she won the 2006 Community Champion award out of 15,000 employees and raised over $30,000 for her partner non-profit, Girls Inc. After leaving corporate sales at Thomson to study at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, she started the non-profit Play 4 Life, Inc. to bring nutrition into inner city schools, again bringing community together for fundraiser events such as karaoke and dodgeball tournaments. Some of her accomplishments include speaking at corporations such as ConEdison, Thomson Financial, Rabo Bank and White & Case LLC, and managing a program to teach leadership skills to business professionals in Mumbai, India. Tanya has a B.A. from UC Berkeley and studied at The Institute For Integrative Nutrition.
