CEPAL Research: Yoga and Wellness Program Evaluation
USD’s Center for Education Policy and Law has been engaged in an evaluation of the Yoga and Wellness Program in the Encinitas Union School District since fall of 2012. CEPAL researchers are studying the effects of the program at all nine EUSD schools. This randomized control trial pilot evaluation allows researchers to study the program’s potential impact on students’ physical and emotional well-being, engagement with school, and learning performance in addition to effects on school climate. Preliminary results are anticipated in the fall of 2013.
