Program Information
Certificate: Character Education Certificate
Units: This program consists of 4 courses of 3 Professional Development Units (PDUs) each for a total of 12 PDUs. Please note that PDUs are non-credit bearing and are not assessed at the standard graduate tuition rate.
Approximate Time to Completion: Less than 1 year. Estimated time to completion includes required intersession classes.

Tuition
Tuition is $400 per course for the Specialist Certificate in Character Development.
What can I do with this certificate?
The Character Education Certificate is designed to meet the needs of educators who are interested in the character development of children and youth. A graduate certificate in character development will improve the candidate’s knowledge and skills in helping students develop the habits of good character.
