- National Association for Campus
Activities (NACA)
offers numerous scholarships that are available to graduate students,
undergraduate student leaders and associate members on an annual basis.
Eligibility
and Application Instructions for Each Scholarship
- The USD Office of Sponsored Programs offers information about outside sources of grants and fellowships. For more information, please call (619) 260-6825.
- The P.E.O Educational Loan Fund makes loans available to qualified women who desire higher education and are in need of financial assistance. For more information, review the loan information sheet.
- Phi Delta Kappa offers a variety of fellowships for graduate students. Visit http://www.pdkintl.org/awards/index.htm for more information.
- Public
Service Loan Forgiveness Program
- The College Cost Reduction and Access Act of 2007 established a new
public service loan forgiveness program. This program discharges any
remaining debt after 10 years of full-time employment in public service.
The borrower must have made 120 payments as part of the Direct Loan
program in order to obtain this benefit. Only payments made on or after
October 1, 2007 count toward the required 120 monthly payments.
(Borrowers may consolidate into Direct Lending in order to qualify for
this loan forgiveness program starting July 1, 2008.)
- The San Diego American Marketing Association is currently accepting applications for the 2011 Parker Pike Nonprofit Marketing Scholarship
The Scholarship is available to all college students, undergraduate and graduate level, attending any San Diego County college, university or extension program, part- time or full time.

- The San Diego Foundation offers scholarships. Visit their web site to find information about how to apply for over 60 different scholarships using one application, search a database of scholarships offered by local and national organizations, and access their Scholarship Seekers’ Toolkit.
- SchoolsFirst
Federal Credit Union, Higher Education Loan
- SchoolsFirst FCU established a Higher Education Loan with amounts up to
$50,000 to assist its members as they pursue master's or doctoral
degrees. The loan can be used to cover tuition and other costs incurred
while completing an advanced degree.

Minority Student Scholarships:
- The American Indian Graduate Center
Scholars (AIGC) announces the availability of fellowships and loans for service to
American Indian and Alaska Native undergraduate and graduate students.

Programs and Eligibility Information
- American Indian Scholarship - This scholarship is funded through the Daughters of the American Revolution National Society. It is open to Native American graduate students. The minimum GPA requirement is 2.75 and the student must be able to demonstrate financial need and have proof of their American Indian heritage. The minimum award amount is $500. - Congressional Hispanic
Caucus Institute (CHCI) Scholarship Awards - This premier scholarship opportunity is afforded to Latino students who
have a history of performing public service-oriented activities in their
communities and who plan to continue contributing in the future. There
is no GPA or major requirement. Students with excellent leadership
potential are encouraged to apply. Deadline for 2011-2012: April 16, 2011.

- Ford Foundation
Fellowships for Minorities - Through its Fellowship Program, the Ford Foundation seeks to increase
the diversity of the nation's college and university faculties.
Administered by the National Research Council (NRC) since 1979, these
programs provide fellowship support at the predoctoral, dissertation and
postdoctoral levels. Eligibility is limited to U.S. citizens who can
demonstrate superior academic achievement, are committed to a career in
teaching and research at the college or university level, show promise
of future achievement as scholars and teachers, and are well prepared to
use diversity as a resource for enriching the education of all

- Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) - This scholarship is available to full-time graduate students at an accredited university. Applicants must have completed at least 15 undergraduate credits with a minimum 2.7 GPA. The application period is from August 1st to October 15th . The amount awarded varies. - League of United Latin American
Citizens (LULAC) - National Scholarship Fund, LNSF - LNSF brings together local fund raising efforts with corporate partners
to provide over $750,000 in scholarships to all levels of
degree-seeking students each year.

- National Association
for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) - In an
effort to promote and ensure higher education opportunities for
minority youth, the NAACP offers the following national scholarships:
Earl G. Graves Scholarship, Agnes Jones Scholarship, Historically Black
College & Universities Scholarship Fund, Lillian and Samuel Sutton
Scholarship, Roy Wilkins scholarship, and the Hubertus W.V. Willems
Scholarship. Scholarship award amounts range from $1,000 - $5,000 and
are disbursed in two installments throughout a specified school year.
Each scholarship contains its own set of requirements and students are
encouraged to apply for each award that aligns with their eligibility.
