On Campus Work Opportunities
- International students are eligible to work on campus up to 20 hours/week in positions such as graduate assistantships
- Student Affairs Graduate Assistantships
(G.A.'s)
- Eligibility: Qualified G.A. applicants must have a completed application on file for or already be admitted to and enrolled in the M.A. in Higher Education Leadership. Hiring will be contingent on the applicant's admission by faculty, to the Master's in Higher Education Leadership
- Compensation
• An hourly wage of $10.40 for 20 hours a week for up to 48 weeks
• Up to $5,000 tuition scholarship per semester
• One year appointment with the possibility of re-appointment for one additional year - Attend our Open House/Interview Day on March 7, 2011 for the SOLES/Student Affairs Collaboration (SASC), and learn about and apply for Graduate Assistantships in Student Affairs

for Doctoral Students
- APPLICATION DEADLINE: TBA - Spring 2011 for 2011/2012 Academic Year
- Eligibility: Applicants should be currently enrolled SOLES doctoral students in good standing, carrying a full course load (6 units per semester).
- Compensation
- 9-month assistantship (equals approximately 750 hours
worked)
- Salary - approximately $14,000
- Tuition Scholarship* - up to 12 units (to be used during the term of the contract)
- Health benefits are also provided
- 12 -month assistantship (equals approximately 1040 hours
worked)
- Salary - approximately $19,000
- Tuition Scholarship* - up to 15 units (to be used during the term of the contract)
- Health benefits are also provided
*Please note that the scholarship funds are taxable, and that the funds do not provide for the cost of books nor fees.

organization that offers a number of scholarship opportunities for
women. One of the awards is the P.E.O. International Peace Scholarship
