• The Diocesan of San Diego Employee Scholarship
  This is an annually renewable grant for students who are full time employees of the Catholic Diocese of San Diego, including parish schools and agencies. The scholarship is based on unit enrollment and is subject to the amount of other academic scholarships. Applicants for the Diocesan of San Diego Employee Scholarship must: be a SOLES student in good standing; and, be an employee who works full-time for the Diocese of San Diego. Applications are due two weeks prior to the start of the term.

  Award amounts vary up to $2,500 per semester and are available for up to two consecutive years.

External Financial Aid Sources

• Mental Health Loan Assumption Program (MHLAP)
  Applicants may apply for up to $10,000 in exchange for a 12-month service obligation, working or volunteering in a position within the public mental health system.

• San Diego Foundation Scholarships
  Currently, over 85 scholarships are offered, each with its own unique criteria.
  
  
• American School Counselor Association Foundation (ASCA) Scholarship
  The $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to up to 10 students each year who are currently enrolled in a master's level school counseling program. One of the goals of the scholarship program is to encourage minority students and males to enter the school counseling profession.
